Artists stop all jobs to mourn the Gansu mudslide souls as one heart
China's Gansu mudslide had numerous casualties (more than 1,200 people now), the country made this the national mourning day. There's an uproar within the entertainment circle, all entertainment events held today (the 15th) are delayed, while a large number of artists are participating in the all star charity race, schedule to happen today. However, after yesterday's emergency meeting, the race is postponed to tomorrow (the 16th). Artists including Chilam Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Annie Liu, Athena Chu, Michelle Yip, Chin Ka Lok, Ekin Cheng and Niki Chow arrived for the race with their managers. However, they will have to stay another day to complete the race, also the organizers will hold a disaster relief activity.
Artists have a very busy schedule, Chin Ka Lok was first to promise he'll stay behind and joked: "I rejected several Western films, should be no problem. To be able to participate, I initially was suppose to participate in another race, a more professional one, but the car broke down!" First time participating in a car race, Chilam followed Ka Lok and joked along "I am known for being the 'never defeated' because I never participated in one before! I have always drove safely, but I think when the time comes, I don't mind being the last one."
Athena Chu: "of course I have to support the only one race. A national mourning day is necessary, audience and artists have to express their intentions. Last time when I participated in the race, I got into a car accident, so this time I will be extra careful."
Aaron Kwok: "I have work on Tuesday, initially I wanted to get back to Hong Kong on Monday to prepare, but now I decided to stay behind too. Actually besides participating in this all star charity race, I also participated in the John Forbes Kerry European-China series competition."

Former TV presenter Janis Chan's crazy fan threatens to stab her eyes & bomb her company BMA
Former TV presenter Janis Chan's crazy fan threatens to stab her eyes & bomb her company BMA
Started off her career as a TV presenter and later entered BMA's Marketing & Advertising Ltd. as the Vice President, Janis Chan has always had a group of loyal fans' support. It was understood that when Janis was a TV presenter, she got herself a crazy male fan admirer, often uploading his personal photos on Janis website, Facebook and Weibo. Lately, the male fan's messages are getting more and more intense, even uploading a group photo of him and a half naked girl on Janis websites. Janis was forced to delete it and blocked him immediately. The male fan saw this and quickly made life-threatening calls to BMA, and successfully reached Janis in one of the calls. He constantly expressed his love for Janis and frightened her so much she quickly hung up.
The male fan went even further and called BMA again the day before. He wanted to talk to Janis directly and ask her to meet with him. After receiving a rejection, he was angry, cursed at the company and threatened them: "If not, I will stab her eyes out and put bombs in the company." BMA felt Janis life was threatened, so they decided to call the police. Yesterday Janis appeared at the Wan Chai police station accompanied by her manager and stayed for almost an hour.
The media contacted Janis over the phone and she admitted to the incident. She said: "I was frightened too, so I didn't dare to tell my parents. (You know the male fan?) Never met him, I have noticed his messages and uploaded photos, but recently he has been getting too over and is doing personal attacks." Asked if she'll hire body guards, she expressed: "My boss (Lo Kit Sing) will hire one. I feel that it is necessary, I don't leave the door myself anymore and won't go out late. (Sexual harassment?) No, just life threatened."
BMA and her colleagues are all worried about her safety. Currently in Shanghai, Niki Chow said: "I have encountered crazy fans before too, I am very careful. When I go out or to work, I often have someone accompany me. I hope the fan is just playing, don't hurt Janis. I am pretty worried about her, I will call and SMS to comfort her, hope she's ok."

Niki Chow's eyes grew big when asked about reconcile with Kevin Cheng
Niki Chow's eyes grew big when asked about reconcile with Kevin Cheng
Yesterday Niki Chow attended a public event. She exposed that she has been troubled with the flu for half a month, affecting her new album release in September. During the time she was sick, she was emotionally down and once cried heavily at home. Eventually she was able to get through this tough time relying on western medication and acupuncture. About her crying at home, was it related to ex-rumored boyfriend Kevin Cheng's recent gossips with his late teacher Dai Si Chong? Niki said: "Not related. I am not qualified to comment, but his gossips should come to an end now." Asked if she thought about getting back with Kevin? Niki's eyes grew big as she said: "Not really, wah! I recovered from the flu, won't say nonsense, I have nothing to say."
